Therapy Services
One often seeks therapeutic services when life becomes overwhelming, or when usual ways of coping no longer work. You may feel disconnected to your body or emotions, or feel a constant stream of thoughts on loop in your head. You may feel angry or are recognizing that you don’t really feel in touch with your emotions anymore.
Initially, you may feel that engaging in therapy is a sign of weakness, though I believe it takes a lot of courage for one to reach out and seek support. The vulnerability you give to this process may be scary, though it is the first step to healing! By seeking therapy, you open yourself up to the possibilities of change and growth. You actively acknowledge to yourself that you no longer want to feel the way you do, and want something better for yourself.
My hope is to offer you an enriching therapeutic experience to help you transform. I feel the purpose of therapy is to provide a safe space to connect, discuss your concerns and find better ways to address them. We may also focus on healing from past traumas, challenging relationships, and learning how to face uncomfortable emotions you have (or haven’t) dealt with. I hope in your experience with me you will learn more about yourself, and to accept and appreciate where you are at.
My therapeutic treatment is holistic in nature, which means I take into account the connection of the body, mind, and spirit, and how they play a role in your wellbeing. I believe that this can lead to better and long term healing and treatment.
I provide therapy for issues related to:
I work only with adult individuals. I do not work with couples or minors.
Client services are only provided via Telehealth. I do not provide in person services.
*Sessions are by appointment only.

About Me
I attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where I received BA degrees in English and Psychology. I furthered my education at Argosy University Hawaii in the field of Marriage and Family Therapy. In this program, I was required to intern for one year at an agency to obtain skills in the field. I matched with one of the local hospice agencies, and learned a lot about people as individuals, and as a family. I also learned a lot about death, dying, and living. It was an eye-opening and life changing experience.
After I graduated with my MA degree from Argosy in 2013, I was fortunate to be hired by the hospice agency I interned at. I deepened my practice, learning even more about relationships and how to work with people who were experiencing pain - physical, spiritual, and emotional. I felt honored to serve the patients and families and be a part of their journey.
A few years ago I embarked on my own health journey. I enrolled in an online health coaching certification program in 2017. I wanted to learn more about nutrition, to heal from my own digestive ailments, and to add holistic methods to my therapeutic techniques. I graduated from the IIN® Health Coach Training Program in January 2018 as a certified health coach. I also became certified in their gut health course in August 2018, and their hormone health course in February 2019. *Since I am a therapist and health coach, I want to make it clear that this website is solely dedicated to my therapeutic services.
All my experiences led me to create my private practice. I feel grateful for the training and education I have received, and for the people that have helped me become the therapist I am today - teachers, colleagues, mentors, family/friends, and especially the clients I have worked with at hospice and in my practice.
